Memory-based AI agents automating SOC alert investigations

Mate Security is a cybersecurity startup (founded 2025, headquartered in Tel Aviv) that provides an AI-native Security Operations Center (SOC) platform built to automate alert investigation and response across an organization’s existing security stack. Its core offering — Mate — uses AI agents, reasoning models, and large language models (LLMs) to ingest a company’s policies, playbooks, ownership maps, and tribal knowledge, then correlates alerts, gathers evidence, and triages or resolves incidents.

Instead of relying on static playbooks, Mate builds a continuously evolving “organizational wisdom engine” that contextualizes each alert using real-world events, past incidents, and internal context, enabling faster, more accurate responses with less manual work. Routine alerts can be automatically resolved; more complex incidents are enriched with full context and escalated to human analysts, reducing alert noise, fatigue, and investigation overhead.

Mate Security emerged from stealth in November 2025 with $15.5 million in seed funding led by Team8 and Insight Partners.
