Confidential AI Deployment with Privacy-Preserving Technology

Mithril Security, founded in 2021 by Daniel Huynh (CEO), Raphaël Millet (COO) and Mehdi Bessaa (CTO) and based in Paris, France, is a startup specializing in privacy-first AI and confidential computing for large language models and enterprise systems.

The company raised €1.2 million from Auriga Cyber Ventures, Polytechnique Ventures and ITFarm. Its tools include BlindLlama and AICert, which provide secure enclaves, cryptographic provenance, and zero trust AI inference architecture.

In 2024, Mithril was quietly acquired by H Company, a French AI agent enterprise, in a strategic deal to combine confidential AI infrastructure with autonomous agent deployment platforms.
