Non-human identity management and security platform

Oasis Security is a 2025 IT-Harvest Cyber 150 vendor. The company focuses on managing and securing non-human identities (NHIs): service accounts, API keys, and machine-generated credentials used across modern cloud and hybrid environments.

Founded in 2022 and based in New York City, the company provides lifecycle governance for NHIs without requiring agents, integrating with major cloud providers

including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud. Its platform aggregates metadata on NHI ownership, permissions, resource usage, and privilege levels, providing continuous posture assessment through its Posture & Remediation Intelligence (PRI) engine. The system identifies dependencies, assesses privileges, flags vulnerabilities, and prioritizes remediation based on severity.

The platform supports automated and semi-automated remediation workflows, as well as policy-alignment tools that allow organizations to set granular security policies tied to business requirements. Key capabilities include ownership discovery, credential rotation automation, and orchestration for bring-your-own-identity processes in CI/CD pipelines.

Oasis Security raised $35 million in a Series A and $5 million in a seed round, both announced in January 2024. Sequoia Capital led with participation from Accel, Cyberstarts, Maple Capital, Snyk founder Guy Podjarny, and Island co-founder/CEO Michael Fey.

The company’s $35 million Series A extension was announced just a few months later in May 2024 with Accel, Cyberstarts and Sequoia Capital returning to lead the round.
