PromptArmor, founded in 2023, is a cybersecurity startup focused on securing enterprise deployment of generative and agentic AI by providing a runtime guardrail layer around prompts, responses, and model interactions. The company’s platform offers features such as real-time prompt interception, automated response sanitization, policy-enforced output filtering (PII, PHI, IP exposure), and integration into enterprise workflows (browser plugins, APIs, SaaS embeds).

PromptArmor has reportedly raised a seed round of $3.2 million in April of 2024 from YCombinator Continuity Fund and Liquid 2 Ventures.
